My MIL had heard that Joe's Pizza was rated as one of the best in the state and kept asking if we had tried it since moving into the area 18 months ago. I needed to run to the Shop Rite to pick up a few things so I decided to swing by Joe's and order a large plain pie. The guy behind the counter greeted me as though I was a regular and have been there a hundred times. There are roughly 6-8 tables if you choose to dine in. The ambiance inside is your stereotypical pizza place. They're also on DoorDash and Slice, though not everything on their menu may be found on DD/Slice (e.g., the garlic knots are on Slice but not DD).
The best pizza in Flemington! Hands down, nothing else need be said... When I visit from Florida, it's always a safe place to grab amazing pizza and cheesesteaks, pasta, and more!
We happened to be in the area and decided to stop in and grab a quick slice before our next appointment. We settled in the white pizza with do outta and mozzarella and split a round deep dish sausage and pepperoni. Very casual ambiance and the service very friendly. Very good pizza, a hit for sure and 'An offer you can't refuse!'
Update - recently retried Joe's again and the pizza was perfection! So delicious. Not sure what happened the time prior to this one but it was hopefully in the past. 5 stars again. Keep up the great job!
The food is always top notch, whether ordering a full meal to eat in, pizza for stay or go, or you are starving for a great cheese steak. The larger cheese steak sandwich is definitely enough for two, but if you are starving and have the room in your stomach, go for the whole thing yourself. I love most of the pizza that they offer, and I don't think I have ever had a bad slice. I'm not local, but do go to Flemington quite a bit, as most of us in Hunterdon County do, so I simply call ahead and order, so it is ready once I get down there. Great employees who have a knack of making you feel like a regular. Now closed on Sunday, but not a terrible thing as long as you remember to stop by on Saturday to take it home. I drive the 25-30 minutes because it is predictably just as I ordered, and hey, the people down there remember my name. There is seating to eat in, but if it is supper time, you may find all seats taken. I have eaten Italian all over Hunterdon County, but this is the best at what they do - good food, great flavor, fair prices, and wonderful staff. When it is good, don't try to fix it!
I ordered the grandma pie with pepperoni and onions and their chicken soup. The grandma pie is the best! My first time trying this restaurant and it won't be my last. Pizza was cooked. Perfectly crust was perfect sauce was delicious just the right amount of all the ingredients. I have not tried the soup yet, but I'm sure it'll be just as good! Why don't you lay with Batman?
Love the atmosphere here, no complaints on any of their food. One of the best cheese steaks you'll find in Jersey. Everyone always is upbeat and just an enjoyable place to eat.
Delicious and fresh pizzas. The sauce and crust are so on point! Ordered several pies to host a holiday party and the service was excellent. Looking forward to returning again.
We have just discovered Joe's, and wow! Excellent food! We have tried 5 or 6 pizza places- this is the best. Cheese is not like leather! And sauce and crust is great! Friendly, fast and amazing salads! Gotta have a good salad.
